Aire de Protection des Habitats Naturels (APHN) en Grand Est Aire ( ou Zone ou Arrêtés) de protection des habitats naturels (APHN) en Grand Est Nouveau dispositif réglementaire établi par le décret n° 2018-1180 du 19 décembre 2018 relatif à la protection des biotopes et des habitats naturels. Celui-ci s'ajoute aux deux outils préfectoraux existants en matière de protection réglementaire stricte sur les habitats naturels que sont les APB et APG (arrêtés de protection de sites d'intérêt géologique). Dans le cadre du plan biodiversité (action 40), ce nouveau dispositif est prévu pour permettre de prendre des arrêtés de protection fondés sur la présence d'un habitat naturel. L'APHN étend notamment le champ d'application des arrêtés préfectoraux de protection des biotopes à des milieux d'origine artificielle : bâtiments, ouvrages, mines et carrières en fin d'exploitation, à l'exception des habitations et des bâtiments à usage professionnel.
